Meet the Provider

Uju Rivera is a Dual-Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, who is passionate about increasing access to high quality mental health care for individuals across the life span. Her 13- year career experience in the healthcare field allows her to utilize her expertise and skillset during each unique patient interaction; thereby optimizing mental and physical wellness. She honors the unique strength of each individual by providing a personalized approach to mental health care, with the ultimate goal of optimizing wellness. She is passionate about the destigmatization of mental illness and providing quality, evidence-based mental health care to address each patient’s unique needs and goals.

Her seamless integration of cutting edge tools with a human-centered approach helps to meet the patients where they are and create meaningful, transformative solutions. She specializes in the application and analysis of Psychopharmacogenetic testing, as applicable in clinical practice. You can expect a comprehensive evaluation during your consultation with her, as she utilizes her medical and psychiatric background to provide you with a holistic view of your current concerns. She works in close partnership with board-certified physicians to offer a full spectrum of primary mental health services, which includes diagnosing mental illnesses and co-occurring disorders.

She is board certified in Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Practice from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) respectively. She is an active member of the California Association of Nurse Practitioners (CANP) and American Psychiatric Nurses Association. She is looking forward to connecting with you!
